“A RELIEF PITCHER! FOR A HORSE!”

Let’s be honest. When a relief pitcher steps on to the mound for The Phillies, I turn off the TV. I know you do too. I wait for the texts to be disgusted. Last night was the prime example. Spencer Howard pitched like the “Horse” you need as a starter. Hit his spots, great fastball, changed speeds and stayed ahead all night. Then….. the merry go round! It is abysmal. Old arms, new arms, it’s a travesty. Thank God Hoskins is out of his slump. And he looks good. He saved us last night with a two run double. If I were Howard, I buy him a porterhouse! Not a “quarter horse” Nuff said.
