Painfully Obvious…

After Shady McCoy was chosen by the Eagles in the 2nd round, you didn’t hear a peep. But when Avonte Maddox was chosen last year, the petty came out.

Believe me. I dont like Avonte Maddox. I watched him 4 years, and he may be fast, but he can not play in an NFL secondary.

And so it began… and hopefully it ended after this draft for the Eagles. Just to pander to James Franklin, PSU and the joebots, you don’t pick Shareef Miller. He can’t replace Chris Long.

Now I hope I’m wrong. I do hope that Miles Sanders is half as good as Shady. I think he might be… 1/2 as good. But it is painfully obvious that the psu complainers caught somebody’s ear with The Birds, and WE got two psu players in the draft instead of need players at S & DE, and WE passed on best available players on nearly every draft board in the world.

So be it. But if they both bust, lets remember that Qadree Ollison and Darrin Hall both had similar numbers to Miles Sanders over the last 4 years compared to Sander’s one year of starting. And DE James Folston Jr. of Pitt signed with The Arizona Cardinals. He may eclipse Miller very quickly on the NFL level.

Also, let’s not placate psu fandom and bureaucrats anymore. WE know where that all got us the last time.
