NHL Hurricane Owner Thomas Dunden pulled the rug from under the AAF by shuttering the doors. Dunden had spent 70M of the 250M he pledged to keep the AAF alive and will still be on the hook for 70M more. He has said that the NFL & NFLPA must allow players from the practice squad to play in the AAF.
No one is really sure what is up with Dunden. I just backed out of a real estate deal when the costs outweighed the benefits. Maybe Dunden did too(?)
