News just broke that the Angels are willing to pay Mike Trout 430 million dollars over the course of 12 years to play baseball.
I can’t afford my prescriptions and a guy in his late 20s will get paid about 100,000 dollars every time he steps up to the plate.
And the great irony is that the world is ok with it. And in some ways so am I.
We crave entertainment.
These guys provide that.
We dream of becoming them when we are young and then we judge them when we grow old.
Life is one big catch 22.
And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
