This year for Nola may be spectacular. If you’ve seen his change up in spring training that now drops straight down and not to his right when he throws it. It is deadly. It gives the hitter absolutely no chance to slap the ball to left field or for a righty to pull it if they get out in front of it. No, this pitch drops down hard. And it’s the pitch that Nola may bank on as the season begins.
