Trading any player to the Patriots means that that player will have a lobotomy on all the knowledge that he has of your team’s defense or offense. Enter Michael Bennett.
I’m not bothered to see him traded. Bennett missed a great deal of assignments during the season. Many became big runs against us. To get a 5th and 7th for Bennett may be a steal unless he takes the entire playbook with him to New England. The cap space is the biggest gain for Howie Roseman.
