Could Phillies be holding out on Harper?

He wants $35,000,000 a year for 10 years. That’s Harper. Not John Middleton. Could it be that after Machado signed for $300M for 10yrs in SD, the Phillies told Harper he’s only a $280M for 10yr Player? Brethren, if SF, LA, SD, Chisox, Nats and Yanks were offering Harper $350M for 10 years or less, this whole drama would be over! The bottom line is that Bryce Harper hurt himself and Manny outflanked him. But it is definitely not “stupid money” from John Middleton and the Phillies.
