He’s the Mayor of South Bend, Indiana. But he’s not very Catholic Notre Dame. As a graduate from NYU as an Urban Planner, Mayor is the first step to the WH, but not the last. Earn your stripes in Foreign Affairs, Meet All of America and maybe a round of structural governmental experience as Governor. South Bend is ranked far down on the list of America Cities in terms of size and budget. America can’t afford taking a flier on a small timer. Haven’t we had enough of incompetent?
